Only the essentials
We are used to seeing design systems with complex structures, with more information than necessary, and very difficult to understand, but Tragadol DS is an example of a project developed for the needs. We have a specific color palette for each use, as well as typography with only the cases that will be applied in the project, or the use of spacing or breakpoints. In this way, we have ensured that each element has its function.
Development and design tokens
Between design and development, we have created a token system to group and organize components and styles in such a way that it has guaranteed uniformity and coherence throughout the design system. This has allowed us to make decisions more quickly and scale them. Everything is hierarchized based on consensual decisions that allow for a perfect handoff.
Accessibility as a principle
One of Tragadol pillars is that it is accessible and inclusive. A design and code that breathes, that reads well, that is understandable, and that is pleasing to look at, so that the majority can use the digital product. Everything passes the color contrast, is well labeled in code, hierarchized, etc.
